PORTIA DE ROSSI followed the example of Julianna Marguiles and shared a story about Steven Seagal behaving inappropriately towards her.

Actress Julianna Marguiles recently told American radio station SiriusXM about a strange encounter she had with Steven Seagal almost three decades ago.

The actress, who currently stars in The Good Wife claims that Seagal brought out a gun in his hotel room, where she had been invited to “audition”.

She had initially declined to take part in private audition and made excuses about being unable to travel, but an unnamed female casting director would not take no for an answer.

When I was 23, a casting director, a woman, said ‘Well Steven Seagal wants to go over the scene with you in his hotel room at 10 o’clock at night.’ I lived in Brooklyn, and I said, ‘Oh, I don’t do that. I don’t travel. I don’t have money for a cab.’ And I didn’t.

And I said, ‘And I don’t take subways late at night.’ She said ‘Don’t worry, we’ll reimburse you. And I’m here.’ A woman, because we need to start holding these people accountable too.

I got to the hotel around 10.40pm and she wasn’t there and he was alone and he made sure t hat I saw his gun. I had never seen a gun in real life. I got out of there unscathed… I was never raped, and I was never harmed. I don’t know how I got out of that hotel room. It always starts with ‘I’m a healer. I want to massage you’, and I sort of squirmed my way out.

Portia de Rossi took to Twitter to share her story about auditioning for a movie with Steven Seagal.

My final audition for a Steven Seagal movie took place in his office. He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather pants.

The 44-year-old actress added that her agent was unfazed after the incident. Following Portia’s statement, Ellen Degeneres tweeted “I’m proud of my wife.”

In October, former actress Lisa Guerrero, who now works at Inside Edition says that she was asked to participate in a private audition with Seagal’s Beverly Hills mansion. She went and decided to bring the casting director along, just in case. When she arrived Seagal answered the door in wearing only a silk kimono which made her very uncomfortable.

She said that Seagal looked surprised to see that she was accompanied by her casting director, but led them to another room where he insisted on sitting on an elevated throne while she recited lines from the scenes she had prepared.
